About the event
Welcome to our one-week filmmaking workshop for kids!
The one-week filmmaking workshop is designed for children interested in the art of filmmaking. Kids will learn how to write and produce a short film, starting with an introduction to the basics of storytelling and camera angles. They will then work in groups to develop a script, learning how to brainstorm ideas, create characters, and develop a plot.
Once the script is complete, kids will move on to the production phase of the workshop, where they will learn how to set up a shot, work with actors, and use camera and sound equipment to capture their vision on film. Throughout the workshop, kids will collaborate and communicate effectively, taking on specific roles and responsibilities to bring their film to life.
By the end of the week, kids will have produced a short film and premiered it for their friends and family. The filmmaking workshop is a fun and engaging way for kids to explore their creativity and gain confidence in their abilities. It also promotes teamwork and a sense of responsibility, as kids learn how to work together, provide constructive feedback, and respect each other's ideas and perspectives.
